Hotel Lang in Altenahr

Hiking vacation with my girlfriend, we had a nice room in the guest house! Everything new, absolutely clean! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! We got a great packed lunch for € 5.50, which was good enough for 2 people. Thank you, we'll be back :-)

Because we felt guuuuuut all around. Starting with the phone calls to book. We immediately liked the loving, familiar atmosphere. The family-run Hotel Lang convinces with its good and always friendly team. The rooms are clean and the breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. Here you can relax and explore the beautiful Ahr valley. Price and performance are in a good relationship.

We had four great days in Altenahr at the Hotel Lang with our two children (2 and 4 years old). The rooms were clean, the staff very accommodating and above all child-friendly. We'd love to come back!

I give 6 stars here 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟. I have never stayed anywhere where everything was just right. And the 6th star 🌟 is only for the lady who served me at the reception, at dinner and at breakfast. She learned her job and implemented it 1,000 percent. Always friendly, always smiling, always looking at the guests and practically fulfilling every wish before it was said. Dear visitors of Altenahr: "Anyone who does not spend the night here (especially as a hiker on the Ahrsteig) is to blame!

First of all, I vary between 3.5 and 4 stars. I can only rate the hotel and breakfast as I did not have dinner there. The reception has received a very friendly and everything to stay. The service is very friendly and helpful. The rooms as well as most of the hotel are renovated and reasonably furnished. The bathroom is not renovated and at the 70 years and very small. The mirror hall could be renovated once and on the occasion maybe abolished immediately. About the music that runs there in the evening can argue, mine is not. The breakfast offers so far everything you know and is fully okay, it is all refilled when it is close to empty. But you should know who is used to 4 star hotels, will miss the fresh preparation of egg dishes, scrambled eggs but there. The hotel has three buildings that are not connected to each other, so it is possible to get wet if you want to have breakfast, takes place in the main building. Parking is free for hotel guests. Despite the fact that the train station is nearby, it is very quiet there.

It is an older hotel, the service was fine, the rooms were clean but do not expect anything modern. Some of the rooms are facing the railway and can be a bit loud. Overall, it is a simple hotel and a definitely a place to stay if you are planning to hike in the area.

First off. The first hotel lost my reservation so I showed up here a bit late and they were super good about helping me out. Nice room, with a fridge and safe in room. Comfy beds, great shower. The Internet isn't great but if you are in a hotel room and not exploring this awesome area them I'm not sure why you are here. Reasonable rates and a great breakfast is included. I forgot about breakfast and the front desk called and left it out a bit later for me. Both clerks speak great English. Can't say enough how great a stay I have had this far.
